Who Am I?
Hi, I am Thadar Htet. You can call me Thadar which is pronounced

Yes, you got it right. I was born and raised in Myanmar (Burma) which is located in Southeast Asia. I came to the U.S. in 2021 to continue my education. Currently, I am pursuing Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems at the University of Minnesota.
How did my UX design journey start?
After my high school, not knowing what I am talented in and passionate about, I took courses for Business Information Technology to explore which exposed me to Web Developing. I found myself struggling with coding part and enjoying the design process.
So, it led me to explore what align with my interests....
That's when I discovered

Yes, I discovered UX Design.
I took certifcation courses to dive deeper into my interests.
Why am I into UX Design?
I love helping people
achieve their goals.
I love creating
useful and functional
user interfaces.
I believe technology should not be a scary thing for anyone.
UX
To be my detailed, my passion for UX design intensified when I started working in tutoring center when I was in college. Interacting with students from different ages and backgrounds made me realize how UX design can impact one's technical abilities and their success in college. Additionally, my experiences of working in multiple customer service industry gave me an insight that our everyday lives are shaped by very simple design choices. And, it motivates me to be an aspiring UX Designer.
Me, outside of UX
I like working on my silly little YouTube channel as a fun side project. Even with school and a part-time job keeping me busy, I still try to carve out time for it whenever I can.
